Winter is finally coming to a close!

Well there is only one more week until the end of Winter for this year! The days are getting warmer and longer, there are baby animals appearing already, and the smell of hope and mowed lawn is on the horizon!

Now I actually do enjoy Winter normally; cosy nights in front of the fire, not feeling terrible at missing out on being outside when I look out the office window, thunder storms and jumpers are all favourites. But this Winter seems to have been longer and wetter than what we have experienced for a long time, so I am eager for it to end and the weather to even out a bit. The ground needs to dry out and the plants open up to the sun beaming down on them.

My spring deciding and planting has begun, and I can’t wait to get as much in the ground as I can.
